Hi I'm Kimberly
Thanks so much for stopping by my site! If we haven't already met, let me tell you a few things about who I am. I am a desperately flawed and radical follower of the Jesus of Scriptures, the one who dined with prostitutes and wrote hope in the dust, and, as such my call is grounded in the hard and good work of being for and with the least of these. To that end, I serve as Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Anderson University and I am Founder/CEO of Stripped Love, a non for profit ministry supporting women who are victims of sex trafficking and commercial sex exploitation. I have been an ordained minister and in full time ministry for the past twenty years though I don't look a day over 21, and recently launched Preacher Girl School to train women called to ministry to become preachers and justice leaders. Traveling the world has been an enormously important part of my adult life. I love leading groups of pilgrims across the globe on life changing expeditions to holy sites. Some of my favorite places are in Rome, Greece, Israel and Syria. I also enjoy serving as a co-host for Viewpoint, a syndicated radio program of Christian's Broadcasting Hope but my favorite role is being mama to Max and wife to Kevin. We live in Central Indiana now but you should know I am a native Nashvillian and a Southern girl for life! I preach and teach and have published widely on the subject of early church holy women and I resolutely believe in the power of Jesus and women to change the world. I love golf and Notre Dame, the beach, and all things ancient world and southern fried. I love to read and shop and laugh until I cry. I hope we'll be fast friends! xx Kimberly |
